After this weekend, everyone will be blogging and reviewing all the events of the weekend. From all the pre-parties to the after parties of the Durban July to the actual event itself. I on the other hand have decided to blog about an upcoming reality TV show that will be aired on Wednesday, 10th July. Yes it's back! Another season of the popular "Strictly Come Dancing" returns where local SA celebs are partnered with professional ballroom and latin-American dancers in a quest to be the last couple "dancing" so to speak. This show is a spin-off from the BBC version, and like every other BBC show it finds it's way to America too. You've all heard of "Dancing With The Stars"? With "Strictly Come Dancing" season 6 due to air on Wednesday, it's moved from SABC 2 to SABC 3 and even has a brand new panel of professional judges. And I'm sure you are all dying to know who the local celebs are that will be put through their paces by their professional dance partners? Without further ado, we have: Expresso presenter Graeme Richards, comedian Mpho Popps, 5fm breakfast radio producer Damon Kalvari, Durban based musician L’vovo and popular actor Thapelo Mokoena. TV presenters Lalla Hirayama and Kuli Roberts, and popular actresses Connie Ferguson, Zakeeya Patel (High Rollers) and Jay Anstey (Isidingo). Their partners are also well known to viewers and fans of the series, and are all eying out the Season 6 trophy. So set your alarm clocks, PVR decoders and the likes. This is reality TV at it's best, straight into your living room. I missed being an armchair judge!
