Do people ever read blogs?

I often wonder if people ever read these blogs, I know in my case it doesn't look like they do. Is my blog searchable? Do I have to adjust my settings? All these questions keep popping into my head and the same goes for Twitter.........I bought a Blackberry thinking that it would be interesting to tweet. Well I might be tweeting or blogging to a brick wall as nobody has commented or wanted to "follow" my blog. If you are reading this then please make a comment at least I know if I am doing something right or wrong!

Another thing that puzzles me is these people who have like over 2,000 friends on FaceBook. Why oh why? I bet they don't have so many in real life.........probably less than a hundred. They probably don't even know who half these people are! This is probably the shortest post I've written but come on folks give me some feedback, please!

Customer Service

Don't you just hate it when you buy a DVD that clearly states on the packaging it is playable on all DVD players (Zone 0) and when you get it home it just doesn't play? So you take it back to the shop and change it for the same title, and what happens? You get home pop it in your player and it does not want to play past the introduction. You phone the shop and tell them......they say "We tested the disc in store and it plays perfectly on our player. Maybe it's your player?" You reply that you've just bought the latest Samsung Blu-Ray player that plays zone 0 and zone 2..........all your other DVDs play perfectly...........in the end they let you change it for something else and pay the difference. Well that experience makes me realise that if you explain yourself properly they'll listen. Or do I just have an honest face?

Back again

This is the second day I've been trying to set this blog up........and when I see other people's blogs I'm wondering how they created more than one page to their blog. Can any bloggers out there help me? Today's photo was taken at the local Catholic Church during the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The parish priest must have been a soccer fan. I wonder if he gave the results of matches during his sermon?

You heard the one about the two candles............ "Let's go out tonight!!" I know you're all saying: "Ha! Ha! Don't give up your day job!" Well the fact of the matter is I don't have a job......I'm retired. So you're going to have to put up with me....... I will try and post humorous stuff about Durban with a few pictures like the one on the right. I saw this on a tree.......is it a new breed of cat? I purposely blacked out the contact details, just so no one is tempted to call the owner. Please if there are Photos of Durban you'd like to see, please let me know!!
